#4: How to Manifest your Dreams

We've all heard about manifesting our dreams, but the real question is how exactly? What is manifestation and how does it work?


Every single one of us is full and bursting with limitless potential, capable of transforming all of our dreams into a beautiful reality. But how you may ask?


With the Law Of Attraction of course!


Law of Attraction is basically the idea that we have the ability to attract whatever we are focusing on into our lives. I know it sounds like something out of a movie, but it's true!


Here are the 8 main steps to manifesting your dreams:


  • #1: Keep your END GOAL in mind. Ask yourself, "Why do I want this?" , "What will it bring me? Wisdom, Peace, Happiness, Prosperity, etc?"


  • #2: Let go of Resistance. Acknowledge what's holding you back, and why it is. The idea here is to basically let go of past resistance and try to achieve greater awareness over your thoughts. Accept your current life for exactly the way that it is. This isn’t about giving up. Instead, it is about learning to be OK with things the way that they are. For example, if you are unhappy with the way thins are right now, you may have a sense of "lacking" something. This mindset tends to fuel the build up of negative thoughts and emotions, as well as the desire to 'want' more overall.


  • #3: Identify what you WANT. You needs to realize and understand that the universe doesn't differentiate negative energy from positive energy. Energy is energy. So start asking yourself "What do I want?" rather than "What do I NOT want?".


  • #4: Expect your DREAMS to come TRUE. You have your plan, and now you execute. Apart of that is to "act as if". Expectations are what fuel your desire and motivation. Fill your head with thoughts about what you want to manifest and get excited, whatever it may be! Here are a few ways to fuel your motivation and desire:

    • Dream about it

    • Think about it

    • TALK about it

    • Visualize it

    • Create a vision/dream board

    • Be confident and DON'T GIVE UP!

  • #5: Act as IF. Act as if you are living your dreams RIGHT NOW! Start by thinking/saying things out loud like "I am ______" , "I have _____", etc. It may feel and sound weird, but you gotta do what you gotta do. However, for many, "acting as if" may feel a little weird, because after all, you are trying to "act as if" you are happy/rich/healthy/successful (or whatever it may be) when your reality could be the complete opposite, or says otherwise. I could feel a little... fake. But remember, would you rather feel a little bit of discomfort and possibly/hopefully benefit greatly from it, or avoid the discomfort and possibly not? When you are"acting as if" you are really tricking your emotions and thoughts into visualizing/living in your dreams. To basically align with your dreams.


  • #6: Mind your Energy. Be mindful of the energy you are putting out into the universe. remember, what we put out is what the universe will return. If you put out negative energy, you will get back negative energy. That's not something we want is it? It's like when you feel as if you "lack something" constantly, over time, that feeling will only get worse. Start choosing positive feelings and act on them.


  • #7: Start Appreciating the Little Things. Start LIVING IN THE MOMENT! We get so caught up with things such as social media and upholding a certain status, that we forget to live. Start focusing on your self. Try to take advantage of every opportunity that may come your way! Live your life to the fullest with no regrets, because at the end of the day, no one's going to live it for you. Most importantly, don't be afraid to make mistakes, and even if you do make some, IT'S OKAY! It's a learning process. Think of them as opportunities to grow from.


  • #8: DREAM BIG. No matter how cliche it may sound, it's true! Start romanticizing your life. Start doing things that make you happy, no matter how little they may be. Whether it's picking out your favorite outfit, or your favorite coffee mug, watching the sunset, etc. These little things all matter!

You create your own destiny. Just follow these 8 steps everyday, and watch the magic happen!
